Athens Alabama - The city of Athens is completely inside of Limestone County.   The city of Athens provides that small town charm with the convenience of being close to a large city.   The city of Athens has its own school system.
	Madison Alabama - The city of Madison is located in Madison County and part in Limestone County.   The city of Madison has outstanding schools.   In fact Bob Jones high school is within the top 5% in the nation.   The city of Madison is very close to Research Park and Redstone Arsenal.  The homes in the City of Madison are typically higher priced because of the schools and proximity.

Huntsville Alabama - The city of Huntsville covers a very large area in Madison County and extends into Limestone County.   Currently the school district for Huntsville properties in Limestone County and West Huntsville is Providence and Colombia.   These schools are a long distance from Limestone County.   As a buyer you should research these properties very carefully.   Note:  Huntsville has plans to build new schools in Limestone County over the next five years.   

Communities:  

East Limestone Alabama - The East Limestone community is located on the east side of Limestone County as the name suggests making it close to Research Park and Redstone Arsenal.  This is the fastest growing part of Limestone County.   The schools are Creekside Elementary and East Limestone High Schools.   I think the East Limestone schools are excellent (of course I could be biased since that is where my children go).   Home prices in the East Limestone are priced more reasonable than Madison.
